DESCRIPTION: The Harwood 237 Ranch in northern Gonzales County is the perfect place for your dream weekend retreat, hunting lodge, or agricultural endeavor. With gently rolling terrain, an extensive trail system, three ponds, and mature hardwoods, this private setting offers a balance of seclusion and convenience. The ranch provides a nice mix of heavily wooded areas and wide-open pasture, great for cattle and a nice habitat for wildlife. TERRAIN: The Harwood 237 has gently rolling topography with the highest elevations of 430 ft located on the western portion of the property. The ranch is heavily wooded with cleared pasture to the northeast, and features four nice-sized ponds, intermediate wet weather creeks, and sandy soils. Nice post Oaks, Live oaks and other mature trees provide great diversity, intensifying the wildlife habitat on the ranch. IMPROVEMENTS: The ranch is primarily a blank canvas but features thoughtful improvements. Winding dirt roads make up an extensive trail system throughout the ranch and provide great access.
